The first Booster Club meeting is scheduled for Monday, September 13th in the Upper School cafateria at 7:00p. Refreshments will be served.

Punt, Pass and Kick Cook-out

Incredible is all I can say. The turn out for the innagural Punt, Pass and Kick Cook-out was incredible. A special thanks to the BeeZee's, Doub Best and Ted Zapletal for all of their hard work. Thanks to the 8th grade girls that helped with the set up and clean up. Thanks also go out to the football coaches for judging, and Head Football Coach John Stollenwreck for his great work on the mic. Joe Gregory, Jim Sowder, Jo Ormsby and Mike Kelly get my thanks for taking care of the grill and food table. Andy Bautz, Rob and Amy Peck- a big thank you for monitoring the money table. Thanks to Rob Baldwin for making a late trip to ParkitMarket for the third keg and countless trip to Albertson's. Staff Photographer Gordon Bruce took incredible pictures, some of which I hope to attach. Trey Smith graciously offered to set up the PA system and it sounded great. Thank you, thank you, thank you to Karl Kuby for the generous donation of the dogs and brats. The jalapeno hot dogs are my new favorite.

Some things I learned... overbuy on foodand beer We ran out of burgers and dogs.Never underestimate the beer drinking abilities of all of us STA athletic supporters. We set a record for beer consumption at Booster Club cook-out with three kegs. I learned that the PPK Cook-out, or Heismans and Hot Dogs as it will be known, will join Hoops and Hot Dogs and Homeruns and Hot Dogs as an annual event.

Finally, I really want to thank all of you that attended and helped make the innagural Heismans and Hot Dogs a great time. Thanks to your children for participating.
