The Boys Blue team suffered their first loss of the season bringing their record to 8-1 and the White team continues to improve but has yet to crack the winning column.
All of the teams plan on finishing the season strong. The last games of the regular season are this weekend. Consult the DPL website for schedules. The playoffs start on Tuesday, October 26th.
Domination

The St. Thomas Wildcats demonstrated a domination over their opponents that few have ever witnessed on Homecoming Sunday. The Wildcats outscored their opponents by a combined total of 94-Zilch.The day started out with the undefeated 5th graders taming the Bearcats of St. Monica by a score of 24-0. The game was never in question. The 6th grade football team took to the gridiron against the Tigers of St. Pius. This one was over quickly as the JV squad controlled the game and coasted to a 42-0 victory. The Varsity team used a stifling defense to squash any hopes the St. Pius Tigers had of upsetting the Wildcats. Quniten Harrah made the Tigers of St. Pius look more porous than pius before the day was through, displaying pinpoint accuracy and spreading the ball all around the field. The defense even got on the board with a fumble recovery in the end zone by 7th grader Chase Kirkland. The final score for the 7th and 8th graders was 28-0.
As it stands now, the 5th grade team is still UNDEFEATED at 6-0, the Junior Varsity team sits at 2nd in their division and is 4-2 overall, while the Varsity team is currently tied for 1st in their division. Things are looking good for the St. Thomas Wildcat football teams.
